Vision

The Human Resources Office of the Taos Municipal Schools (TMS), recognizing the primary goal to provide the best possible education of students of the District, also recognizes that in order to accomplish this task it must provide the most qualified and competent staff.

Mission Statement

The Human Resources Office will attract and maintain the best qualified personnel who will provide quality learning opportunities for students. Management strategies will be utilized to involve staff in decisions and to instill pride and ownership of solutions, services, and activities that will benefit students.

Goals

The Human Resource Office will:

Recruit, select and employ the best qualified and competent staff
Conduct an employment appraisal program that will ensure annual evaluations of staff and promote the continuous improvement of staff performance
Assign personnel to ensure effective assignment and utilization
Develop quality human relationships to obtain maximum staff performance and a high level of job satisfaction
Implement and conduct personnel functions in an efficient and competent manner and in accordance with the TMS Personnel Policies and the Collective Bargaining Agreement

La Oficina de Recursos Humanos será atraer y mantener el mejor personal calificado que proporcionarán oportunidades de aprendizaje de calidad para los estudiantes. Se utilizarán estrategias de gestión para involucrar al personal en las decisiones y de inculcar orgullo y propiedad de las soluciones, servicios y actividades que beneficien a los estudiantes.


Objetivos

La Oficina de Recursos Humanos hará lo siguiente:

• Reclutar, seleccionar y emplear el mejor personal calificado y competente

• Llevar a cabo un programa de evaluación de empleo que garantice evaluaciones anuales del personal y promover la mejora continua del desempeño del personal

• Asignar personal para asegurar la asignación y utilización efectiva

• Desarrollar las relaciones humanas de calidad para obtener el máximo rendimiento del personal y un alto nivel de satisfacción en el trabajo

• Poner en práctica y llevar a cabo las funciones del personal de una manera eficiente y competente y de acuerdo con las Políticas de Personal TMS y el Convenio Colectivo
