Date of issue: August 13, 2019 

You are invited to submit a proposal for providing the above referenced professional services to the Taos Municipal Schools. The District is seeking to establish a four-year pool of qualified providers who will be asked to provide services on an as-needed basis. 

If you desire to submit a proposal, complete the Offeror’s Response Form (Page 8 of packet) and in the spaces provided indicate the price at which you agree to perform the above services as specified. Include all charges except New Mexico Gross Receipts Tax. Also, sign the statement on page 5 and the Campaign Contribution Form (pages 9-10). Return the ORIGINAL unbound proposal and three (3) copies of the proposal in a sealed envelope with the proposal number, due date and time clearly noted on the outside. Please return all pages of this RFP packet.

Autism Training!
The Exceptional Program's Taos Autism Team is proud to host Families First, a live-stream event from the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD). 
 
Families First is a monthly workshop series for parents of young children with an autism spectrum disorder. The program is FREE of charge. Each 3-hour workshop focuses on providing parents and caregivers with strategies to use at home, school, and in the community. The strategies discussed are based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). 
All workshops are held in the Taos Municipal Schools Board Room from 8 AM to 11 AM. Upcoming topics are as follows:

CHILD FIND

 Child Find will be the first Thursday in February and March 2019. If you have a child you would like to have screened for speech or other developmental concerns, please call the Exceptional Program Office to schedule an appointment.
